Ledgent is partnering with a manufacturing client in the Edina area looking to bring on a Staff/Senior level Accountant to help with general accounting tasks while other employees focus on an ERP implementation.

Project estimate is 5-6+ months. $30-$40/hour D.O.E. On-Site during training with hybrid flexibility after 1-2 months.

Job Description:

• Maintain the general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Facilitate and complete month-end, quarter-end and year close processes.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for assigned sites.
• Prepare and collect data for external audits.
• Assist site management in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Work cross functionally to optimize financial performance.
• Support ERP system enhancements related to accounting and finance and identify opportunities for improvement in all accounting reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience in Job Costing, W.I.P, Inventory (Manufacturing industry preferred)
